Originally in my last trip to USA, I got myself a 24 port Monoprice patch panel. This is good for the “central” hub of your networked home. But if there is a specific part of the house that have quite a fair bit of cables (e.g. 6 ?) and usually that’s at the entertainment area (e.g. you need network to your Smart TV, your network media tank, your Apple TV2, your AC Ryan Playon HD, your BluRay Live Player etc), you will need a smaller footprint and not so many network points.
The best i can find is Monoprice 12 port mini patch panel (i would really have preferred a 6 port)..
Will post pictures of this when it is set up.. for now, enjoy the unboxing
