I recently stayed at the Sofitel Sentosa Prestige Suite in March 2022 as part of a school holiday staycation. I can highly recommend the Prestige Suite at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa as it is really a very big, comfortable suite for your whole family. The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort itself is an amazingly friendly and enjoyable (and surprisingly quiet) resort. It makes for a great stay.

Photos of the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa
Let me share some nice photos of the hotel… and a peacock 🙂
The arrival is so nice and look at the blue blue sky. Parking is free and hence it is pretty neat in that sense.
Maybe it is the BLUE BLUE sky or the weather or the peacefulness of it all, the place really feels like an out of town resort….. it is a different feel of a staycation from the St Regis Caroline Astor Suite or the Andaz Studio Suite or even the W Hotel in Sentosa itself with the Marvelous Suite. All very different feel from this hotel.
Look at that ….
And oh.. please say hi to the resident peacocks.. they are almost always everywhere..
Sofitel Sentosa Prestige Suite
My room key. Unfortunately I am no big time at Accor (only a Silver member due to my American Express Highflier Card), I had to wait till 3pm for my room. Or else it was because it was March Holidays and hence you know… the place is full of parents like ME 🙂
The suite is located at the appropriately named “Peace Wing”
There are two parts to the suite. The room and the living area.
The view from the room is pretty nice. although I am so jealous of the BMW that is parked right outside…is he a guest…. I want to park there too 🙂
The Room…
We decided this wardrobe is best for mask hanging 🙂
The other section is the Living Area.. which comes with a very comfortable coach.. You can sleep one here ? 🙂
I last saw a similar looking “drinks stand” at the St Regis….
The Swimming Pool at Sofitel Sentosa
Oh.. how I love the pool at the Sofitel Sentosa
A good pool is where there are MANY kinds of relaxing chairs for lazy bums like me..
A direct walk to Tanjong Beach
Right next to the swimming pool is this (long) stairs down to the Tanjong Beach. The Sofitel Sentosa is “set atop a hill on the Southern edge of Sentosa Island” so it is a walk DOWN the stairs to the Tanjong Beach area…. if you are a beach person then it is great.
Also the hotel provides for free bicycles for your use (from 8am.. don’t ask me why.. ridiculous actually…)…
Conclusion
The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa was really (relatively) peaceful even during the March Holidays (except for the pool and morning breakfast so I suggest you wake up early).
I can imagine it would be even more fantastic off-school holidays too for a weekend or weekday getaway. It is also easy to get around the island (and parking was free…) by bus as the bus stop is just outside the hotel. Else it is a short walk to Tanjong Beach too for the beach bus…
As a whole, wonderful stay.
If you like suites, I stayed at a few and sharing my reviews here. The one I liked most is the Capitol Kempinski Stamford Suite.
